How is data mining used in data science?

Data mining is not about drilling dataset, but creating intelligence for machines to work like a human neural system. It all begins with data mining, which involves web scraping, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) conversion, cleansing & standardization (processing) and analyzing the outcome of Extract Transform Loading (ETL) process. The end product is intelligence, which is to integrate data mining results with machines so that they could be able to simulate the neural network of a human brain artificially. Without mining, it is not possible to get insights and analyse the data for converting into a strategy or intelligence that can transform commercial activities.
